The GCTS UTM‐500 is a servo‐hydraulic load frame with exceptional control and accuracy designed for precise testing. Four‐column vertical standing assembly and threaded columns for cross head adjustment. Servo control with closed‐loop feedback from any of the eight (8) input channels or real‐time calculated function. The UTM load frames can accommodate a large range of test fixtures. GCTS offers a vast library of apps for specific test standards or customized procedures to meet your unique testing needs. The UTM‐500 is a servo‐controlled all‐in‐one system for performing a variety of material characterization tests on rock specimens. The 500 kN capacity load frame is ideal for performing unconfined compression tests while utilizing on‐specimen strain measurement devices. The UTM‐500 can also be fit with accessories to perform indirect tension (Brazilian) tests, ultrasonic velocity measurements, or acoustic emission sensors.
