Corrosive Pore Fluid

The GCTS HPVS-400 Pore Fluid Transfer Cell, when used with the HPVC pressure intensifiers, are ideal for the control of the pore pressure in triaxial tests, head pressure in permeability tests, or fluid pressure in hydro-fracture tests when corrosive fluids, such as brine, are used as the pore fluid. The transfer cell has a 400 cc volume capacity with absolute pressure of 140 MPa and differential pressure across the rolling diaphragm of up to 1,000 kPa.

GCTS also offers ePVC electromechanical pressure/volume controllers designed specifically for corrosive fluids.
