Indirect Tension (Brazilian) Test
The GCTS Indirect Tension (Brazilian) Module can be used with any GCTS unconfined, triaxial, or point load frame to determine the indirect tensile strength of rocks by the Brazilian Test. This device conforms to the test standard established by the International Society for Rock Mechanics. The device includes upper and lower loading jaws designed to be lightweight with high strength and guide pins to prevent rotation of the jaws relative to each other.
